Overview

Jolanda Traarbach is a singer and guitar player with the Netherlands band, Unicorn.  She lives in Haarlem and describes herself as self-employed in association with  Hart Muziekschool.

Jolanda is a singer, singing teacher and choir director. She has been teaching singing at Hart Muziekschool for more than 10 years and has gained so much experience in teaching students of all ages and levels.

In 1998 Jolanda graduated from the conservatory for the study Vocal Pop & Jazz. There she studied with Maria Rondèl, Herman van Doorn and Margriet Eshuys, among others. After graduating from the conservatory she lived for several years in Ireland, where she specialized in Irish music. Back in the Netherlands she gained a lot of experience with singing in all kinds of styles: she sang in pop bands and jazz ensembles, but also continued to work with Irish music and participated in various World Music projects. At the moment she sings in the Irish band Unicorn, in the World music band One Earth Collective and she contributes to meditation CDs. She also writes her own songs and released several albums that can be listened to on Spotify and YouTube and on the Singer Songwriter page on her website.
