Scheepsfolk

Scheepsfolk is a Dutch maritime folk band with a unique sound. The band regularly performs in many countries during festivals and nautical events and in folk clubs. There are also performances in concert churches, in galleries, during relationship boat trips and receptions, at street performances and during theme presentations.  The enthusiastic crew, three in total, accompanies themselves with accordion, guitar,mandolin, banjo, ukulele, drawstring bag, washboard, candrum, kazoo, cajon and double bass.  The musical influences come from all over Europe and there are also cajun, Americana and skiffle influences, giving Scheepsfolk its own uniquely developed style.
