Overview
IT HAS BEEN a busy year for the East End Seaport Museum, with record attendance as well as new programs and events for our members. Our Lighthouse Cruises continued, as popular as ever. This year the Museum offered a revolving gallery of exhibits by local artists, and new exhibits featuring vignettes from our rich maritime history. We restarted our children’s programs and installed an exciting new Augmented Reality Sand table. We sponsored a visit from the tall ship Kalmar Nyckel. AND we have begun the restoration of our beloved lighthouse, Long Beach Bar Light, locally known as BUG LIGHT.
YOUR SUPPORT has made all this possible. With the continued support of our members and the community, EESM will expand our offerings to enrich your experience with quality programing and interesting exhibitions — all with an eye towards the restoration and maintenance of the Lighthouse.
