The goal of the Channel Islands Maritime Museum is to preserve and share the wonders of our universal maritime heritage, highlight our complex interrelationships with the ecology of The Ocean, and showcase people’s creative expressions of everything related to the sea.
The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is a cultural and scenic haven in the Channel Islands Harbor complete with world-class maritime art, ship models, and ocean breezes. The Museum also presents a series of temporary exhibits which highlight everything maritime.
The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is an independent, 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. The museum receives financial support from members, friends, charitable foundations, and local businesses.
The Museum welcomes visitors annually from all over the United States, as well as from more than 30 foreign countries. The Elementary Education Program, staffed entirely by volunteers, conducts in-house tours for thousands of elementary school students each year.
