Overview

Bounding Main CD Fish Out of Water FOoW

Join The Sea Gals on the high seas, for a taste of traditional sea shanties and nautical ditties. Known for their soaring acapella but delivered with gut and gusto, they will transport you on a voyage from taverns and harbours to the roaring waves. This all-female group hailing from Totnes in South Devon, guarantees a foot-stomping good time, with a touch of pirate buccaneering thrown in for good measure. Feathers are mandatory.

Little bit pirate, quite a lot shanty.

“The Sea Gals are an all-female sea shanty crew, formed in Totnes, bringing you traditional working songs of the sea and other nautical numbers.  Their passion for the sounds and stories of the harbours, ships and voyages across the Seven Seas helps to keep these traditional songs from being lost to the deep.” — The Totnes Brewing Company
