On 18 October 2024 Gordon Wilkins posted in the Sea Shanties & Folk songs about the Sea group on Facebook that the Stogursey Sea Shanty Crew would be appearing at Quantock Gateway, Bridgwater on Tuesday 26 November 2024 from 7:30 pm.
On 18 October 2024 Barbara Curtis posted in the Bridgwater matters (Uncensored) group on Facebook that the Stogursey Sea Shanty Crew would be appearing at the Greyhound Stogursey that evening at 7:30 pm for an informal, free, friendly evening.
We are the Stogursey Sea Shanty Singers based in Somerset where we hold a session every 2 weeks in our local village hall. We have 28 singers of which the majority are ladies and we perform at local villages in aid of charity. The group was only formed in March 23 but we are very keen and produce some great sounds. We are actively recruiting new members if you are local to Bridgwater in Somerset and would like to join you would be very welcome.
