Les Pêcheurs de Notes is a collective of singers and musicians, originally founded in 2010 at the La Rochelle Maritime Museum.

They perform a vocal and instrumental journey into the history of the world of navigation, derived from traditional repertoires and adding more recent creations… Sailors on the open sea or river boatmen, all share the same existence, made up of trials, but also of joys… In short, everything that forges a life…

The group, composed of ten members hosts concerts, folk balls and other festive events, with a repertoire composed of traditional melodies and more recent creations.

They say; “On board, we sing loud and clear the adventures of the forgotten sailors, the lamentations of the harbours and the wives of these obscure or legendary adventurers!”
