Julie & Brownie

BROWNIE:
Brownie Macintosh is an internationally published songwriter/author with a gold record to his credit. He plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, tenor guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and voice. A trained whiskey baritone, he boasts of a better than six octave vocal range.

He has had three children’s books published, and 2017 marks his 52nd year of performing. Brownie is very happy to feature Bethany Perkins as “Julie” in the act.

JULIE:
Bethany Perkins is a soprano and pianist with sixteen years of professional performance and music instruction experience. She has her Bachelor’s of Music Performance from Gordon College.

Bethany is a voice and piano instructor at Midcoast School of Music and Breakwater School, and at her own studio, Colors Creative Arts, in Portland.

You will find her music directing and performing in southern Maine theaters and schools, and at Thornton Heights United Methodist Church.

She is delighted to be working with Brownie and to be the new Julie!
