The next edition of this festival occurs on 14 June 2025.
Musical entertainment about sea and fish; festivals and performances in and around Gouda. The Friends of Songs about Fish and Ships organize a shanty festival in Gouda every two years. In addition, there are also regular shanty cafes and other musical activities around fish and boats on the program.
We have started preparing for the Shantyfestival 2025. On Saturday 14 June, during the Museumhavendagen on and around the Museumhaven in Gouda, there will be performances by various choirs and groups.
