Chris Kastle

Chris Kastle is an award winning singer, storyteller, songsmith, author, artist, and educator living in St. Augustine, Florida. She is a professional touring performer, seasoned traveler, and former tall ship sailor who offers insight into a lifetime of adventure. Performance venues have included international shanty festivals, tall ship festivals, maritime festivals, pirate festivals, museums, concerts, and more. Chris was Co-founder and Co-director of the Chicago Maritime Festival. Her original songs and stories possess great imagery and have the occasional Celtic flavor. She has published 12 recordings as a duo, three as a solo, and her book of short, scary sea stories, “From the Icy Fingers of the Deep” has received critical acclaim.
