Birmingham Sea Shanty Social Group

In Birmingham we’re pretty much as far from the sea as it’s possible to be in England, but there are those of us that love and want to sing the old sea shanties. This group exists to gather those folk and hopefully arrange regular meet ups to sing with each other and have fun doing so

“Hello all. Numerous attempts to find a suitable venue have all been a no go. As much as I would love to see regular meet ups for folk to sing shanties I just can’t see it happening anymore. 

As a result I am actively stopping searching for venues and will likely no longer update this page unless something comes along. 

If someone else would like to take this on then drop me a message, but as it stands right now I’ve given up.”
