UK’s Most landlocked Sea Shanty Band

It’s been said we’re “the best Sea Shanty band to sail out of Bedfordshire” and we’ll happily take that crown.
We belt out traditional songs of the sea packed with rum, women, whaling, and sailing, and we guarantee a roaring good time from the first note to the last chorus.

Whether it’s a party, corporate event, pub, club, festival, community day, or charity gig, the Sloop Groggy Dogs turn any gathering into a full-blown ShantAlong. If you want noise, laughter, and proper maritime mischief, you know who to invite.

We’ve had the honour of performing at some legendary ports of call, including the Tower of London, the Cutty Sark, The Guards Museum, Trafalgar Night events, and of course sea shanty festivals in Falmouth, Harwich, and Brancaster, not to mention many a fine evening aboard HMS Pickle.

Note: Not to be confused with the Spanish Punk Shanty group, "The Groggy Dogs."
