Lopster Störmvogels

During the General Members’ Meeting on Thursday, March 31, 2022, we unfortunately had to conclude that we have too few choir members to keep the shanty choir going.

Attempts were made to recruit new members (including female members) but unfortunately this was not successful.

The Coronapandemic has not done the choir any good for the past two years. The number of members was no longer sufficient to be able to provide a good performance. The association had hoped to be able to celebrate its 20th anniversary in December, but unfortunately it does not come to that.

In the meantime, the planned performances have all been canceled and we will consider what to do with the professional equipment present.

We would like to thank everyone who has followed us, the organizations of the festivals where we were allowed to perform and wish all choirs a lot of success.
