Les Gars d’la Cale

Created in 2012, the Gars d’la Cale group is composed of Breton and Norman singers who ask you to embark with them on amazing and festive musical voyages.

“If songs once allowed sailors to coordinate their efforts, they still remain today a powerful vector of energy, solidarity, and brotherhood, dreams, parties and wanderings.

We interpret a repertoire essentially composed of traditional pieces (songs of the sea, of sailors, France and elsewhere) and personal compositions.

We accompany ourselves with acoustic instruments (guitars, accordions, flutes, violin,…) leaving a predominant place for vocals and vocal harmonies while soliciting public participation, exchange and conviviality.

Whether on a stage, a hold, on the corner of a street, in a bistro, on a boat… let’s tune our voices and… sing!! ”
