Overview
Our repertoire is now around 70 songs.
We perform regularly around London, at the Jamboree Venue in Kings Cross, the Tea House Theatre in Vauxhall, and the William Morris pub in Colliers Wood. Some events are ticketed, some are free entry.
We hand out chorus sheets to all guests at all venues, who usually number around forty to fifty. Both experienced and inexperienced shanty singers are appreciated as guests and made welcome. We usually take one or two requests from our guests.
Having sold out three gigs in a row aboard London Bankside’s Golden Hinde, we’ve secured more dates in August, September, November and January.
What a gift this venue is for group and guests alike – such an authentic atmosphere, terrific acoustically, and spacious enough for an intimate evening with a perfect-sized audience. Just be careful to mind your heads on the way down past the gun deck and into the hold!
Tickets for all of the upcoming dates on the ship are already available via eventbrite.com. To keep things simple, every performance begins at 7:30pm and comprises three sets – and to keep things interesting, every month we switch out eight of our songs for eight others from our repertoire!
