Overview

L’Écho du Pertuis is a mixed choir singing sea songs created in La Faute-sur-Mer in the Vendée region of France 2017.

It is the result of the merger of the choir L’Echo du large and the group Les Compagnons du Pertuis. All its members are volunteers and rehearsals take place in La Faute-sur-Mer every Tuesday evening.

They perform throughout the year at Music Festivals, Port Festivals, Esplanade du Casino, camping activities, municipal holidays, Restaurants, Ehpad, welcoming holidaymakers, association parties, charity concerts and more.

The association created the “Les Grandes Marées” Festival in August 2018, which was the first festival of sea songs in southern Vendée, taking place in La Faute sur mer. Since 2019, the festival has attracted more and more spectators, coming to enjoy performances by groups from the Vendée, Charente-Maritime and Landes.
