Foursheet Shanty Crew

Foursheet was formed when world renowned Derbyshire duo Keith Kendrick and Sylvia Needham met Denise Dryburgh and Phil Underwood, aka DryWood.

It was an instant meeting of minds both musically and personally – the result is a powerful and heartfelt blend of instruments and voices.

Keith and Sylvia sing mainly English traditional and traditionally influenced contemporary songs and work extensively all over the globe. 

Phil and Denise are a folk duo from Stony Stratford singing both lively and soulful original and traditional songs. Their songs especially celebrate the heritage of the English Canals, spiced up with a pinch of Americana.

Foursheet have a wide ranging repertoire, frequently accompanying themselves and playing lively dance tunes on concertinas, melodeon, guitar, banjo, fiddle and percussion.

Uncannily compatible styles of delivery produce striking harmonies, both acapella and accompanied.
