Eagle Alley

Eagle Alley was a close harmony group based in Bath and Bradford on Avon. The  group was made up of Anne Gregson, Rob Winder and Chris Timson. They sang unaccompanied close harmony and chose their songs from the English tradition plus some from further away.  Two of them were accomplished song writers and they both contributed to the repertoire too. Oh, and sea shanties were never far away …

Chris and Anne have been together for many years, both as performers and in real life, but the seeds of the group were sown when they started going to the song session at the Star Inn in Bath (still very much going on Sundays). There they met Rob and after a while it felt natural for the three of them to start singing together since they’d done so much of it at the Star.

31/1/2024 – Farewell …

Sad to say Eagle Alley, for a number of reasons (mostly logistical), are having to wind down at least for now. We aren’t taking any gigs or recording the next projected CD, but you never know what might happen should the three of us find ourselves find ourselves in the same place at the same time. We shall leave the website and our Facebook page in place so you can enjoy our past exploits. Thanks for your support in the past.
