After many years involved in the Yorkshire Folk Scene, Kevin Young remains one of the busiest performers and promoters of folk music in the region and his passion for singing has taken him to many parts of the world.

Kevin is the founder member of Colleen’s Fancy, Pavilion Pierrots and is frontman at the Beggar’s Folk Club in Kilnsea, East Yorks. He has released nine CDs and one DVD and is also a member of the Endeavour Shantymen and half of the Irish Duo, Colleens Fancy.

He has a strong clear voice and his repertoire includes a series of fine maritime and traditional songs, solo and a cappella.

His latest venture is Sarah (Life Turned Her That Way), a folk opera that is receiving rave reviews.
