The Eddies on the River

The Eddies are singers of stories. Some of long ago, some more recent, some familiar and some not so familiar. Our regular home is the Mississippi River but we sing songs from both home and from far away. It’s all about the harmony.

In the Season 2, Episode 1 of The Shanty Show, Bob Walser mentioned that a group named The Eddies performed at the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based bar The Dubliner.  He did not believe that they are actively pursuing gigs at the time of the interview, but as of 6 Dec 2025 the band’s website indicates that they are still actively performing.  Their Facebook page mentions that group members have been occupied through much of 2025 with other activities.
