Curated History
As far as we are aware, the Toucan Pirates are the only non-Disney sponsored musical act to secure the rights to perform and record "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirates Life for Me". The lyrics of this song can be found here: https://boundingmain.com/music/lyrics/pirates-life/.
The Toucan Pirates website was created in 1999 and was last updated in 2016; it is yet to be confirmed that the group is still available to perform together. There is no evident way to reach any member of the group as there is no contact information on either their website or Facebook page, apart from ordering a CD directly from them via PayPal.
