Overview
Arnside Maritime Singing Festival is a one-day event showcasing the best of maritime folk and sea shanty traditions taking place at Arnside Sailing Club in Lancashire.
The historic Arnside Sailing Clubhouse plays host to performances from rising folk stars such as the Jack Tars, as well internationally renowned names including John Connolly and Linn Phipps.
This annual event, which has been running now for several years will raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), and a Severn yacht built in Arnside in 1912.
Visitors will have the chance to hear and take part in lunchtime, afternoon and evening concerts and open session, with sea shanty singing on the pier if weather permits.
2025 Concerts will take place on the 17th August at 1pm, 2:30pm, and 7pm, with tickets costing £4, £8 and £15 respectively.
Arnside is situated on the Kent Estuary at the top of Morecambe Bay in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with Lakeland views. The Sailing Club’s clubhouse is located in the Old Customs House on the Promenade and offers a varied programme of social and musical events.
