Les Gogotiers are three sailor/singers from Fécamp in Normandy who are at the heart of the Herring Festival which takes place there on the last weekend of November each year.

The group has close ties with L’Armée du Chalut and has performed and recorded with them

Note: Regarding the name of the group, the French term,  “Gogotier” signifies a maritime specialist responsible for the fermentation of cod livers for oil extraction.
