Ashby Fishwives

Inspired by the sea shanty singing of the ‘Hawkesbury Trawlermen‘, a group of talented female singer-songwriters have come together to form ‘The Ashby Fishwives’. They perform songs about the sea and inland waterways with intricate harmonies.

Based in the midlands – as far away from the sea as they can be, they based their name on the local canal network. They are a creative and fun group of musicians and song writers who bring both talent and fun into their live concerts.
