Thank you for your interest in advertising on the Maritime Music Directory International! The MMDI is a one-of-a-kind location for everyone interested in this genre’s music, festivals and artists. As a central resource it will be viewed by venues, performance groups, solo performers, music scholars, recording studios, music publishers, and importantly, “sea shanty” fans wanting to discover new ways to enjoy this amazing kind of music!
In addition to adding information to what will become a comprehensive database, we are featuring banner ads at the top of every page. This will allow parties to bring particular focus to a CD release, a concert, a recording facility, or anything else germane to the maritime music scene.
Because of the diversity of devices on which websites are viewed, we had to make an unconventional decision regarding ad sizes: we will need you to submit two size formats for ads. For tablets, laptops and desktops a standard banner ad size works fine, but smartphones get a full 40% of the views, and their very limited screen size requires an abbreviated shape to remain legible.
