Long Tide

Long Tide perform traditional and modern ballads, sea chanteys, and other folk music, both a cappella and with historically-informed instruments. Mike is an award-winning songwriter and member of the Jovial Crew. Ian is a historian specializing in his hometown of Deep River, CT, and its ivory trade. They have both taken part in the Connecticut Sea Music Festival since its inception and served as board advisors and Deckhand singers for the 2026 Festival. [Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival]
