Overview
The 2024 Festival will be August 10th, in Port Gamble! (More info coming in February)
Come enjoy a day of maritime music set in a natural amphitheatre overlooking picturesque Gamble Bay.
We present the cream of the Northwest maritime music community, plus some more far-flung guests, in the historic town of Port Gamble, Washington. The festival promotes the living legacy of maritime music from all corners of the globe, as played by the many local and national artists who live here in the Puget Sound area and across the country. (Read about the performers from this year and past years.)
Food, drinks, & snacks are available at the top of the amphitheatre (which is also the back of the audience) in the Port Gamble General Store. More details on this website’s Location page.
The festival was founded in 2006 by Chris Glanister and Puget’s Sound Productions, and is now presented by Maritime Folknet, a 501(c)(3) federally-recognized non-profit organization.
The festival is held outside, on a beautiful, grassy lawn shaped as an amphitheatre, with shady trees placed handily around, and Port Gamble stretching out in the background. There is a cafe and general store nearby where you can buy food, alcohol (alcohol must only be consumed in specially designated areas), and gifts. There is free parking available. In case of rain, the festival will move across the street to the Port Gamble Theatre.
