Shanty Brisbane

We sing shanties and other songs of the sea for our own enjoyment. We are always looking for new hands, so whether you’d like to sing lead or sing the chorus we are looking for you.

The prime purpose of Shanty Brisbane is to enjoy ourselves by singing shanties, sea songs generally, and perhaps even songs about drinking and having a good time. While we won’t be weighing anchors or hauling yards up the mast we will probably be drinking and having a good time. We might even do the occasional public gig.
