On Saturday, 2 September, 2023 from 8:00 am until 11 am you can enjoy an afternoon of sea shanties & songs of the sea at the Mariners’ Freehouse. There will be five shanty crews from Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex in the beer garden. We welcome Pot of Gold shanty crew from Norfolk, Rattlin’ Winches from Essex, The Smugglers of Alnesbourne from Nacton, Suffolk, The Rum Old Boys from Woodbridge, Suffolk & the hosts Salty Groyne from Felixstowe & Ipswich, Suffolk. Free event. All welcome.
