The Rocky River Bush Band performs traditional and contemporary Australian folk and Bush Songs, Celtic music, sea shanties and songs of the sea.
Rocky River Bush Band was originally formed in 1980 for the inaugural Laura Folk Fair in the Mid-North of South Australia (“…where the Rocky River flows”). The Band is actually based in the City of Onkaparinga (30-40 mins south of Adelaide) and has since developed into one of Australia’s foremost folk bands, featuring some of South Australia’s leading folk musicians.

The group gained some notoriety by being the first to record Barry Skipsey’s, “Ocean Liner”.
