Arkels Visserskoor (English: “Arkels Fishermen’s Choir”)
Sag Auf Wederseh’n was published in Cees Vlieland’s Het Zeegat Uit 20 Nov 2023.
The Arkels Visserskoor was founded on October 15, 1995 and consists of 45 singers and musicians.
Our repertoire is very versatile. In addition to Dutch sea shanties, we also perform German sea shanties and beautiful English ballads and shanties.
Since our founding, we have performed on stage more than 500 times.
The choir mainly performs during various events, such as the four-day cycling event in Hoornaar. But you can also hear and see us at fairs, in shopping centres and retirement homes
