Overview
Chris Ricketts is a freelance musician that suddenly came on the maritime music scene about 2012 or so. Over the last several years he has been steadily working on Princess Cruises’ ships and has been largely unavailable for land-side concerts. He is a former teaching assistant at Priory School, and tended bar at The Cellars at Eastney. He was educated at Newcastle University, with a BA in Popular Music Performance at Southampton Solent. He also studied folk and traditional music while in Newcastle. During the pandemic he posted a number of collaboration videos on his YouTube channel

A regular visitor to Port Isaac, Chris is a great entertainer who brings Shanties, Songs of the Sea and Stories to the stage.
