Easy & Free Legends

Posted on Facebook 26 April, 2024: This morning it was decided to restart Easy & Free under the name the Easy & Free Legends.  Meanwhile, we added one new member, another good accordionist.

Posted on Facebook 14 Jan, 2024:  All things come to an end, so we have decided together, that March 3rd is the very last performance of Easy & Free from Giethoorn in Grandcafé Fanfare. After nine fun years and hundreds of gigs at home and abroad it has been beautiful.

We are Easy & Free, Irish and Maritime Folk from Giethoorn. Since 2016, six men have traveled all over the world with their music in the Netherlands and Germany, but the requests are now also coming from the UK, Belgium and France. Every week they rehearse the (new) songs together on Friday mornings (you are welcome) in the world famous Grand café Fanfare in Giethoorn, this is the home port. Easy & Free has been playing since 2016 and have (if we do say so ourselves) built up a good live reputation. Easy & Free has already performed at major events, such as Vliegende Hollander Festival Terneuzen, Bie Daip in Appingedam, Havenfeesten Delfzijl, in theaters in the Netherlands in Gorredijk, Noordwolde, Steenwijk, but also in the theaters of Travemunde, Cuxhafen and Emsburen in Germany and now of course with the theater show “Four Seasons”.
