Enkhuizen 3

The popular and talented group, Enkhuizen 3, is no longer active.  Hans Weehuizen, along with Tonny Holsbergen and Jan Huitinga, started a new group called Sea Feaver, in 2023.

The singing group Enkhuizen 3 consisted of Hans Weehuizen, Rob Keene and Zeegers Postma; three good friends who have been singing and making music together for many years. All three have more than made their mark in their own way in the seasongs, folk and shanty world. The singing group has had several formations, once starting as Enkhuizen 4, then Enkhuizen 4+1, then back to Enkhuizen 4, and now active for a few years as Enkhuizen 3.

The repertoire was very varied, with songs in Dutch and English, and a strong preference for the lesser-known Seasongs. They accompanied their refined singing with guitar, concertina and bones. The group had often participated in festivals in recent years and performed on many stages in the Netherlands and the UK. The Enkhuizen 3 is a group that was worth listening to.
