Overview
A Flambart is a French term for a small fishing boat with two masts, originally from Normandy and widely used in Brittany. it is also the one chosen by a group of friends to form a musical group and marine songs. Pascal and Michel have been faithful to the diatonic accordion for several years and met from time to time to play together. But, learning that others from Herbignac were singing in the Pontchâtelain group “Mille sabords“, they offered to come and sing with them to accompany their music.
“We have about twenty sailor songs on our repertoire, some of which are well known. Our ambition is to have fun and share it with the audience who reprises in chorus,” says Pascal.
