Golden Parachute

Golden Parachute is a Bordeaux-based “Turbo Pirate Party” group that originated in 2012 as a duo. Since then it has evolved a lot and now consists of seven musicians.

After a first EP released in 2015, they finally released their first album “L’Enfer c’est la terre” in December 2018.

With an over-stimulated and humourous “Ragga Folk Pirate style”, their show tells the adventures of the drunken crew of a pirate ship going to sea in search of a better life.

A show both grotesque and touching at the same time, punctuated by lyrical voices and ragga flows on folk and copper music, Golden Parachute is a stage group that puts on a lively and energetic performance at every concert.

Golden Parachute is a music group in the style of “Turbo Pirate Party”, including electro, rap, folk rock, dance, western, harbass, French song, epic, Balkan, pop, ragga, lyric, metal, disco. They are messed up pirates who feel ill-adapted to society, unloved. They try to go to sea but they, (being French!) mainly spend their time performing psychological introspection and exploring.

The crew dreams of success, of treasures, they seek to get their golden parachute but in the end, they would just need a good hug.
