Overview
Jad’Hisse is the music group of the Association of Traditional Celtic Dances of Pornic. They work every week on 2 repertoires, the sailors’ songs and dance songs. The musicians and singers perform either with the dancers from the workshop, during a wide variety of activities, or alone to host a fest noz or a concert of sailors’ songs.
Jad’Hisse was created over twenty years ago by 14 friends passionate about marine songs. Over the years, some have left of their own free will, others unintentionally, but always with friendship and their heads filled with beautiful images and beautiful harmonies. Others have arrived, rich in “new vocal textures,” new instruments and new ideas.
Rehearsals take place on Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the music school: Pl. de Verdun Sainte-Marie, 44210 Pornic.
