Les Gars d’la Côte, (“the Guys of the Coast”) from Hermanville-sur-Mer in Normandy love to sing and play music and to entertain tan audience.
The group was born from a number of amateur singers who loved the songs of sailors and the sea and longed to share these with the public.
Les Gars de la Côte are composed of thirteen musicians and singers (2 accordions, 2 guitars, a banjo, percussion), and a director for sound system.
“We have a repertoire of more than 40 songs and we provide animation in several parties in Normandy,” says Dominique Sourbieu, head of the group and who succeeded the group’s late founder, Paul Sergent.
