Les Matelots en Bordée is a maritime song group that provides real emotions for lovers of authentic sea and marine songs.

The group is made up of:

Fanch the Marrec, a Breton who has been singing since the 1980s, with his diatonic accordion and powerful voice, he has the typical physique of a sailor with beard and cap, and has developed a range of sailor songs,  anecdotes and epics, sailing and work songs and contemporary creations.

Jean Paul Ferrec: Singing for over 30 years, his powerful voice isaccompanied by various instruments, from his guitar to various flutes and bombards. In 82 with his friend Fanch, he joined the group, “Long John Silver” for a crossing that lasted until 1996.

Patrick Audouin: He is the jack of all trades of the group, professional musician but also composer arranger.

It was noted that Fanch Le Marrec has cunningly claimed the generic website address chantsdemarins.fr.  It would appear that he sometimes performs alone or as part of Matelots en Bordée as a two or three-hander, with Jean-Paul Ferrer or with both Jean-Paul Ferrec and Patrick Audouin
