We stumbled upon a video on YouTube titled, “Joe Cannon singing Leave Her Jonny Leave Her”. The description reads, “Joe Cannon live at The Witchball Pub, Lizard, Cornwall, with the Lizard Shantymen. The audio and video quality of this 2:38 video segment is challenging, but is evidence that, 12 years ago, there was a group, whether formal or informal, performing maritime music in The Lizard.
