This band was recommended to us by YouTube on 30 Aug 2025. Their bio reads: “Drinking and singing. It’s that simple.” Indeed, it appears from the posted videos that their thing is to drink a bunch, record videos of them singing shanties, and posting them to YouTube.
John Michael Carr is a member of the Facebook group, Sea Shanties & Folk songs about the Sea. There is no obvious, further information about his band on social media that we have observed. The band does not seem to have a website nor a Facebook page of its own.
