Menomin Wailers

The Menomin Wailers is a social sea shanty group that hosts sing-alongs on every 3rd Wednesday at Brewery Nønic in Menomonie, Wisconsin, USA.  The gatherings are free to attend, with all welcome.  No preparation is required.

The group makes song sheets available to the public on their Google Drive in Adobe Acrobat format.  A quick review of the lyric sheets reveals that the group ignores copyright or credit to the song authors.

The group posts a playlist on their YouTube page that clearly reveals that whomever is organizing the group is entirely unclear about what is a sea shanty versus Celtic traditional songs, British drinking songs, contemporary maritime songs, etc.
