Overview
The Merchant Men are a group of young shanty singers from Somerset.
The Merchant Men are Freddie Millard, Thom Hooper, Sam Stokes, Bobby Clark and Ethan Taylor and all have musical and theatrical backgrounds.
They said: “We started listening to shanties and we realised that this was the perfect feel good genre of music that we could learn and sing on our own.” Their close harmony singing is infectious fun and easy on the ear.
