We are Morris Minor – Folk Songs, Shanties & More, five members of Chalice Morris Men, (based at Brent Knoll / Weston-super-Mare, Somerset).
We’ve been singing together for many years. We have a wide ranging repertoire. We used to specialise in A Capella English Folk Song with some Shanties and comic songs. However with the ‘Shanty Boom ‘ we have added more ‘Songs of the Sea’ and musicians
Morris Minor is the vocal arm of Chalice Morris and one of their endearing qualities is the singing session that normally follows a dancing performance (The Wail of Sound), and appear at many events in hostelries, inns and festivals in the Somerset area….. (sometimes further afield!!).
