Paddy’s Passion

After a short break, Paddy’s Passion is busy renewing the repertoire and preparing for new gigs in 2025. The band in its new composition:

Accompanied by squeezebox, concertina, violin, guitar and mandolin, we bring a warm, five-voice harmony.  Don’t worry: our instruments can participate, but singing is our priority!  After the summer you will find Paddy’s Passion on all stages throughout Europe.

Paddy’s Passion brings shanty music with an Irish sound. Traditional live music that we arrange to your heart’s content. We use, among other things, accordion, guitar and violin, concertina and harmonica and of course our voices. The repertoire consists of beautiful, old and recent ballads, as well as melancholic and cheerful songs. A number of texts are somewhat naughty, not least because of the connection with the heavy seafaring life, love, women and of course the spiritual fluid.

You will regularly encounter Paddy’s Passion at many international festivals in Europe. But we can also regularly be found at larger festivals in the Netherlands.
