Patrick Denain and Miguel Biard, sometimes referred to as “BiarDenain.”
Hailing from Fécamp in Normandy, Patrick and Miguel perform with a symbiosis which can be felt as well as heard. Both superb singers in their own right, their voices compliment each other’s so completely and make for a magical performance.
“BIARDENAIN” is the meeting of a boatman from the Seine with a specialist in traditional singing.
Patrick Denain produced an album, Chansons de Marine & de Mariniers, that was released on vinyl and on cassette. It does not seem to be available new from any music portal today, though there are sometimes used copies available on Discogs.
Denain has also appeared with the group Marée De Paradis.
