On 4 May 2024 Damian Webb posted on Facebook: “Avast ye leprous dogs, we’re an informal shanty lot taking our first big outing today for some shants and bants at the Burton Inn in Brixham from 4-8pm. Pretty much just a big shout so if any of ye fancy a bellow at the end of the day yer very welcome! And if yer ever in Plymouth and fancy a sing, this is where you can find us Plymouth Shanty Shout”
