Overview
Poole Me Hearties are from an old pirate harbour on the south coast of England. They play traditional sailor songs and other sailing songs in a unique style with a range of acoustic instruments, including accordion, violin, flute and mandolin. Combined with a range of harmonies they sound like no other shanty band.
Whether it’s at festivals, sailing clubs or Poole Quay, they really are at their best during their live performances. Their infectious enthusiasm encourages the audience to sing along with the catchy choruses, and they provide a lot of fun and a few surprises along the way.
