Hoist your tankards and clutch your corsets—The Roaring Wenches have docked.
Hailing from Busselton and around the fine south-west of Western Australia, this all-women shanty band is a vessel full of songs, stories, and chaos.
Born in February 2025 from the love of a good song, and Anchored at Shelter Brewing Co. Busselton (because every good crew needs a solid home port and decent beer) they are already making musical mayhem.
The Roaring Wenches belt out everything from traditional sea shanties and cheeky she-shanties to bawdy sea ballads, a splash of sea folk, and their own originals—all served with a vaudevillian twist, a flick of the plastic cutlass, and a shot of rum (metaphorically… mostly).
Saltier than a sailor’s socks, the Roaring Wenches are more than a band—they’re a singing, cheery community of fourteen-ish women with their own unique talents, in the hopes to make joyful noise, mischief and tell a new tale wherever they go.”
