“The Sailors’ Brides”

Two women, two accordions, and the sea.  These are the Seamen’s Brides. They lovingly present songs from the history of seafaring, playfully and humorously.

Passionate singers Stefanie Lubrich and Astrid Hauke portray the duo Jacky and Pit. Captain Jacky has a hard time keeping her sailor Pit disciplined. Pit does her best – after all, she wants to keep up with the great role models of the seafaring world. Along the way, she stumbles into one adventure or another…

The two cousins transform the stage into a ship’s deck and the audience into a sea shanty choir. Let the sailors’ sweethearts humorously carry you across the waves!

Astrid Hauke is a humor expert. For several years, this music writer has been creating musical family experiences from the North Sea islands to Lake Constance. The award-winning artist and freelance lecturer embodies pure joie de vivre. What makes her special: As an ambassador of happiness, she spreads good cheer and advocates for greater compassion, closeness, and trust.

Stefanie Lubrich has been active as a choir director and vocal coach in Bremen for 25 years. A focus of her work is singing with people who have little or no experience with their own singing voice. Music and singing are her lifeblood, and she wants to share that with as many people as possible!
